Hailaeos (Holly) Troy brings over 39 years of diverse experience spanning from the furthest reaches of the planet to cutting-edge automation solutions. His career has taken him from early Mainframe computers with Prime Computer and early days of SunOS Unix, through 12 seasons in Antarctica supporting grantees and their scientific research.
Holly’s automation journey began by helping Denver University establish their automation program in the early days using Puppet. He then came on board with the City of Denver to serve as an IT Automation Architect for the past six years, implementing solutions with both Ansible Automation Platform and UiPath.
Under the Automation Team they have delivered remarkable results, saving the City $4.8M and 97,000 hours — averaging 157 hours of saved work per day. These achievements demonstrate the transformative power of Ansible automation.
Holly has spoken at RedHat events and partner conferences, where he evangelizes Ansible’s capabilities and shares how both standard and innovative automation approaches have benefited the city and its citizens.
