Stephen Gordon is a Strategic Accounts Director for DOD and Missiles & Space at Red Hat. Stephen has established himself as a pivotal figure in bridging cutting-edge technology with complex national security challenges. Previously, Stephen held several leadership and innovation centric roles at IBM, Salesforce (Aerospace & Defense), and Microsoft, including the founder of Studio Alpa, a specialized wargaming studio within Microsoft Halo Studios, creating an AI powered wargaming platform for U.S. Department of Defense planning, training, and global operations.

With an exceptional track record of building disruptive software for the U.S. Department of Defense, Joint Agencies, NATO, Stephen specializes in discovering, incubating, and delivering AI-powered solutions that provide critical decision advantages in high-stakes conflict environments.

Stephen is a Fellow at The Institute for the Study of War in Washington, D.C. with recognized expertise in contemporary conflict and emerging technologies, open-source intelligence, wargaming, counter-disinformation campaigns, and multi domain operations in extreme climate environments.

Previously, Stephen was co-founder of the Industry Working Group on Cyber-Security Policy & Technology with The Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Gordon received a bachelor’s in history from the University of Arizona Eller College of Business, and a master’s degree in systems design from the Sloan School of Business at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
