Federal spending on artificial intelligence (AI) is at record levels, and departments across the Federal government are implementing AI-infused solutions with innovative approaches and an entrepreneurial mindset. Now it’s time to think bigger. Join us to reframe the potential of AI and machine learning (ML) to transform Federal agency missions – and to inspire government and industry to bring the best possible services, solutions and experiences to the citizenry.

For AI/ML success, it’s critical to start with the end in mind: mission leaders in the right place, at the right time, with the right information. All enterprises working toward this end goal face numerous challenges: siloed data science and DevOps environments, fragmented workflows, and immature data management practices among them. Join us to hear practical solutions to these common challenges and offer actionable advice that agencies can use today, whether they’re experienced AI implementers or just getting started.

The powerful synergy of new artificial intelligence (AI) and hybrid cloud technologies is unlocking countless opportunities for IT innovators, enabling them to operationalize AI from headquarters to the mission edge. Our panel discussion will explore the impact of cross-functional teams, rapid prototyping, and workforce training on AI operations, and how those operations are providing timely intelligence to support rapid decision-making.

To unleash the promise of AI, agencies need to remove barriers between data engineers, data scientists, and application developers. This starts with mindset, followed by planning, and finally, technology that enables data interoperability, democratizes data access, creates repeatable workflows, and fosters collaboration. This panel discussion will explore each step with the end goal in mind: accelerated, end-to-end data science.

In a convergence of two accelerating technology trends, Federal agencies are rapidly implementing zero trust security architectures and integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into their operations. This convergence raises questions about AI’s effect on cyber resilience, as well as opportunities to leverage AI-driven automation and analysis to help secure software and other systems. Join us to hear how Federal leaders are adapting their zero trust cybersecurity roadmaps to account for AI’s rapid growth.

Mission success is all about data – the right data, at the right time, with the right people – and the capability to operationalize that data for faster decision making in the field. Edge computing has rapidly advanced to make this possible, and now, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are accelerating decision making and data analysis at the mission edge even more. From processing images collected by drones at blinding speed to utilizing advanced flyaway kits to support law enforcement, Federal agencies are developing AI/ML use cases far from the traditional data center. Join us to learn how AI and ML are helping military and civilian organizations make better and more timely decisions in the field.

The United States has recently been hit with a large number of cybersecurity attacks. Government leaders have taken action to secure agencies through the form of mandates and directives such as the M-22-09 Zero Trust Strategy, Quantum Computing Cybersecurity Law, and Executive Order 14028: Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity. Some of our brightest minds are working to envision the quantum computing future and how we can realize its enormous potential for progress – and short-circuit its immense potential for peril. This panel will discuss current guidance on moving to quantum-resistant encryption and how researchers are combining AI and commercially-viable quantum technologies today to enable post-quantum cryptography.
